As poverty has been reduced in terms of mere survival, it has become more profound in terms of our way of life.
Whenever we listen the word “Poverty ”; a sympathetic feeling clouds our heart and mind. But in today’s time, the meaning of poverty has now dimensions. The word has to be understood in the context. In earlier days, it was subjected to the person who has less money. Now-a-days, with the improved standard of living we are facing scarcity in various aspects of life. We have to compromise at one end to satisfy the needs of other. Thus the word “Priority” was coined in order to weigh all the facets before any decision. And that is what made our life more profane. The above quote is apt in our lives. We are living in a cut throat competitive world that we always are in a race with ourselves. This gives “Poverty” word another dimensions. I called up a friend asking hey what’s up, how’s you doing? In his 30 min answer, he speaks a lot and ends up saying I am in a bit short of time. This happens very often with us. So the point is that as we are running for our survival, we are losing something. That loss becomes a part of us. Sometimes we are short of money, humanity, feelings, courage, choices, people, allies, understanding, words, time and lies. We all face this and we hide it majority of times. Why? Think about it.
